OUR JOURNEY
Outstanding Possibilities Revealed (OPR) is a community based organization founded in 2014. We focus on providing pre-employment transition services (Pre-ETS) and job coaching to youth between the ages of 14-22 years old with developmental disabilities. Our unique approach allows us to deliver targeted and direct instruction drawing from empathy building and using a collaborative approach to address the basic and major barriers to employment for our students.
Our services are offered in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia by our amazing instructors. Each student at OPR will be guided to participate in useful exercises that will enhance their growth and development. Through our training, students will create documents and develop skills essential in navigating their chosen career paths.
Our training is focused on sharpening creative thinking and building basic but effective analytic skills that are essential in the everyday workplace. Students will create career journey maps, personalized resource directories in addition to practicing real world scenarios in a 10 week instruction cycle. Our training is interactive, collaborative and most of all practical in preparing students for the real world.
